Whalebones, or WhaleboneClan, is an experimental horror comic project inspired by the Warrior Cats series and the fan game ClanGen.
The comic follows a group of cats, WhaleboneClan, as they try to live in an environment that dooms them to die. The clan leader is keeping secrets, cats are going missing...

A supplementary prototype game set in the world of WhaleboneClan. Based on Warrior Cats, play as Altarstar, fifth leader of WhaleboneClan, as he answers the call of a mysterious light on the shore. Find the echoes of Altarstar's past and discover why guilt haunts him...as he walks towards his fate.

MARROWSTAR
The first leader of WhaleboneClan. He is suspected to have ties to the clan's traditions - in fact, it is theorised that he is the one who started them. Towards the end of his life, Marrowstar's sanity began to slip, claiming to see things that no one else could.
And then he took himself and his son, Whalestar, down to the sea.

WHALESTAR
Marrowstar's son, in contrast to his father, seemed calm, level-headed, and fair. At least, that's what the rest of the clan saw. But a select few saw the guilt and paranoia beneath the surface whenever Whalestar looked over his shoulder.

When his father, Altarstar, went down into the sea, Faithbrook immediately assumed his position as leader. From the moment he was named, Faithstar was promised to uphold the clan's traditions stronger than any leader before him - stronger, even, than Marrowstar. It was a mantle he gladly took up, vowing to lead WhaleboneClan to greatness - but having been sheltered from the brunt of their customs by his parents, Faithstar wasn't as prepared as he'd hoped. And now, with each day that goes by, he swears that a shadow is following him.
WHISPERINGSILK
The most recent and sole medicine cat of WhaleboneClan as well as Altarstar's mate, Whisperingsilk has a higher standing than most. But with great power comes great responsibility...and, as it seems, great secrets. Whisperingsilk's strong spiritual connection is usually used to commune with the clan's ancestors...but recently, the feeling of being watched by something is growing stronger, and Whisperingsilk finds herself on edge.
THE DREDGED
The Dredged, as they are called, are the wandering spirits that haunt WhaleboneClan territory. Unable to move on, they are stuck in aconstant state of suffering, mirroring their cause of death. Some are vengeful, others are simply sorrowful, seeming to accept their fate.
